CHB Ginger Shot Recipe

Breakfast Provisions to give you a BOOST

All of our guests enjoy a generous selection of homemade breakfast items to start the day off right. We believe food can be good for you and delicious and these little shots are a great example of that. Filled with health benefits (antioxidants, anti inflammatories, vitamin c and polyphenols) to boost the immune system and aid digestion, they also taste delicious. We love them first thing in the morning straight up, or also added to a mug of boiling water as a warming ‘hug in a mug’.

I use a juicer to make a big batch and then freeze them, but you can also use a powerful blender and then strain it through a sieve if you’d like to continue the good habit at home.

You will need:

3 carrots (peeled and roughly chopped)

3 apples (cored and roughly chopped)

Juice of a lemon

An inch long piece of ginger (peel with a teaspoon to save waste)

An inch piece of turmeric (peeled)

Grind of black peeper (this increases absorption of turmeric by 2000%)
